Your Special Place Vintage Framed Art

I absolutely adore vintage emphera, and when I discovered these lables a few years ago now, that I believe date from the 30s and 40s, I started making them into art pieces for my friends to remind them of their happy place or perhaps an adventure we had shared together.

Because they are so old, and especially the ones from the 40s when materials were scace and paper was thinner, the lables have wonderful patina, perhaps the odd tear or corner missing too, all of which adds to the charm and character.

I mount them and make the frame myself  using conservation grade materials and techniques. The piece is supplied glazed with picture quality acrylic that is lighter than glass, safer in that it does not shatter and offers a degree of UV protection.

The landscape frames measure approx 178mm x 127mm and the square frames 175mm x 175mm (+/- … it is a hand made frame after all!). They come with a hanging strip installed but being 20mm wide it will nicely stand on a shelf on its own.
